    Good Meatballs and Gravy

    Great with mashed potatoes

    Meatballs:
    1-1/2 lbs. hamburger
    1 medium onion, diced
    1 egg
    1/2 pkg. saltine crackers, crushed
    Salt to taste
    Pepper to taste
    Seasoning salt to taste

    Gravy:
    1 pint whipping cream
    1 can tomato soup
    1/2 cup ketchup
    Salt to taste
    Pepper to taste

    Mix meatball ingredients together and roll into balls. Roll in flour and brown in shortening in an electric skillet.

    Simmer for 1/2 hour. I pour about 1 cup water in pan while simmering.

    Mix the gravy ingredients together and pour over meatballs. Simmer to hot. Serve.
