    Cocoa-Walnut Brownie Loaf

    3/4 c butter or margarine, softened
    3/4 c brown sugar
    3/4 c granulated sugar
    1 t vanilla
    2 eggs
    1 3/4 c flour
    1/2 c cocoa
    1 t baking powder
    1/2 t baking soda
    1 (8 oz) container plain yogurt
    1 c coarsely chopped walnuts

    Recipe



    Cream butter, sugars and vanilla.
    Add eggs one at a time, beating until mixture is light and fluffy.
    Combine dry ingredients.
    Add to creamed mixture in thris alternating with yogurt.
    Stir in chopped nuts.
    Pour inot greased and floured 9x5x3 loaf pan.
    Bake at 350 for 65-75 minutes or until cake springs back when lightly touched (top may be cracked).
    Cool in pan 10 minutes.
    INvert onto wire rack.
    Frost with cocoa fudge frosting.

    **2/3 c milk can be substituted for the 8 oz yogurt. Omit baking soda.
