ASPARAGUS POTATO SOUP
AMISH RECIPE

1 14 oz. Can of chicken broth ( or use 1 Tablesoppon of chick. soup base.and water)
3 meduim potatoes, peeled and cubed.
1/3 cup of chopped onion
1 tsp. Salt
8 oz. Of asparagus chopped up
Veleeta cheese, cubed or sliced
1 ½ cup milk
2 Tbs. Flour
(optional bacon fried crisp and crumbled)

Put all in the pan but the milk, cheese and flour and cook until tender. Add milk with flour mixed in good. And simmer for awhile. Add cheese and let melt. If you want now is the time to add the bacon….. Sounds good. This was in the paper yesterday…..
