Recipe Introduction
One of my favorite dishes for breakfast.
List of Ingredients
- 6-8 Pieces of Matzoh
- 1 cup boiling water
- 2 eggs - whisked together
- Salt (to taste)
- 3 Tablespoons Butter
Instructions
- Break the Matzoh into small pieces and place in a medium bowl.
- Pour the boiling water over the Matzoh and allow to soften.
- Add the eggs and salt
- In a medium skillet over medium high heat melt the butter.
- When the foan subsides transfer the matzoh mixture to the pan.
- Fry until crisp and golden.
- Flip and fry the other side.
- Transfer to a plate and you can sprinkle with powdered sugar and top with jam.
Final Comments
Sometimes I add milk and make more like scrambled eggs. (I think this might really be breaking Jewish Kosher laws). Really Good!
