    I got this recipe from a lady named Marilyn from THS recipe exchange

    List of Ingredients




    French Silk Chocolate Pie

    1 baked, pastry pie shell; cooled
    3 oz. unsweetened chocolate
    1 cup butter, softened (not margarine)
    1 cup sugar
    ½ teaspoon vanilla extract
    4 eggs or pasteurized eggs (1 cup Egg Beaters)

    Melt chocolate in small saucepan over low heat; cool. In a large bowl, beat butter until fluffy. Gradually add sugar, beating until light and fluffy. Add cooled chocolate and vanilla; blend well. Add eggs one at a time (1/4 cup at a time) beating at high speed for 2 minutes after each addition. Beat until mixture is smooth and fluffy. Pour into cooled baked pastry shell and refrigerate at least 2 hours before serving. Top with whipped cream and chocolate curls. Store in refrigerator.

    Tip: Try using an Oreo cookie crust instead of the pastry shell for a richer pie.
