List of Ingredients




3½ C. All Purpose Flour
½ C. Sugar
1½ tsp. Baking powder
¾ tsp. Salt
¾ C. butter, softened

Mix above ingredients together until crumbly, then mix in:

2 eggs
1/3 C. milk
Zest of 1 lemon
Zest of 1 orange


Recipe



Mix dough together with hands until all ingredients come together. Gather a tennis ball-size amount of dough in the palm of your hand and form into a ball shape. Place scones on cookie sheet sprayed with non-stick spray. Brush tops of scones with an egg wash and bake at 375 degrees for 20-25 minutes.

Serve with Orange Butter:

With a wooden spoon, beat together 1 stick of unsalted butter (softened), 2 tbs. frozen orange juice concentrate, the zest of ½ of an orange, ¼ C.+1 tbs. Powdered sugar.
