    ¾ cup margarine
    1 cup brown sugar
    1 egg
    1 tsp. vanilla

    BEAT VERY WELL
    ADD: 2 cups flour
    ½ tsp. soda
    ½ cup currants, raisins or nuts.

    Roll into a log and freeze until firm. Slice ½” thick. Place onto a greased sheet and bake for 10-12 minutes at 350f.
