1/2 cup water
One 12-ounce bag fresh cranberries
1/2 cup maple syrup
6 Tablespoons brown sugar
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon vanilla
Recipe
Combine water and cranberries in heavy pot. Bring to boil, then simmer until berries pop. Spoon into processor and pulse a few times until nearly pureed. Dump back into pot with all remaining ingredients except vanilla. Simmer gently, stirring for about 20 minutes until thick. Remove from heat and add vanilla.
