    Peach Cobbler

    9 cups peaches - drained (3 large cans)

    1 cup sugar

    2 ½ Tbls Tapioca

    Layer peaches in a 9 x 13 glass pan
    Sprinkle sugar and tapioca over top of peaches

    Topping:

    ½ cup shortening

    ¾ cup sugar

    1 egg

    1 cup flour

    1 tsp baking powder

    ½ cup milk

    Recipe



    Cream shortening and sugar in an mixing bowl . Add egg and beat well. Combine flour & baking powder. Add alternately with milk to creamed mixture. Pour over fruit. Bake 350 for 50-60 min. Serve with whipped cream
